Chrononutrition is a dietary method put forward by a nutritionist, Dr. Alain Delabos. The principle of chrononutrition is to adapt certain natural rhythms of the body by eating the "good" foods at the "right" time of the day.

Indeed, as the hours go by, our organism obeys biological cycles. These cycles also concern our metropolitanism. We secrete substances (enzymes, hormones, etc.) that are in varying amounts in our body (and in our digestive system) depending on the time of day and night. The very principle of chrononutrition is therefore to eat a food at the moment when the "good" substance acts ... which would therefore prevent our body from storing a possible "overfull" in the form of fats.
