White angina: treatments

Depending on the type of angina, the treatment will be different:

Treatment of viral angina

In this case, the administration of antibiotics is useless, even harmful.
Since angina is caused by a virus, the doctor will try to fight the symptoms: to lower the fever and to eliminate the pains. The treatment will therefore be based on the administration of a medicine for pain and / or fever, and lozenges, sprays or mouthwashes to fight sore throat.

Treatment of bacterial angina

The doctor will prescribe antibiotics. It is most commonly a treatment with penicillin (amoxicillin ...).

The treatment should be scrupulously respected until the end of the prescription, even if the symptoms improve.

And if the patient is allergic to penicillin?
In this case, the doctor will find alternative antibiotics (2nd or 3rd generation cephalosporins, or erythromycin).

Treatment with natural remedies

Plants can be a valuable remedy to relieve you and soothe the pain associated with white angina. True chamomile, sage, thyme, blackcurrant ... tablets to suck, gargle, capsules, essential oil: the choice is wide and the effect sometimes surprising.

Our advice to calm the pains of angina:

  • Feed with liquid or semi-liquid foods (soups, soups, purées, ice creams) to counter swallowing pains.
  • Suck ice and ice cubes and drink cold drinks to take advantage of the cold to ease the pain.
  • Drink in large quantities.
  • Make warm or cold wraps of the neck, according to the temperature which will relieve you the most.

In most cases, this curvature is "dorsal", that is to say that the penis tends to go upwards
